Giles Kavanagh

Managing Director of Pusateri Consulting

Giles leads Pusateri’s Pricing Your Value® work, speaking to brokerages, private banks, and asset managers on the topic of pricing integrity. He advises private wealth services teams and firms on pricing policies, including strategies that can reverse unnecessary pricing compression among premium and high value wealth advisory teams. He specializes in helping FA’s to re-pricing current client accounts, a massive, untapped opportunity within financial services, where advisors allow legacy clients to go on for years wildly underpriced. He has written two white papers on re-establishing pricing integrity, which reflects his observations in coaching more than 600 financial advisors on setting, correcting and defending their pricing.

In addition, Giles leads Pusateri’s organizational relationships with fund companies, brokerages and private banks. He acts as counsel to senior leadership at these firms, where he challenges basic assumptions and norms within the firms.

Giles began his career in financial services in 1995 with Zephyr Management, a global, emerging markets private equity firm headquartered in New York where he conducted fundamental research on Latin American small cap stocks and South African private companies. He assisted currency expert Barbara Rockefeller in researching and writing her 2002 book, CNBC 24/7 Trading: Around the Clock, Around the World. Giles led Horsesmouth’s sustained learning programs group, an early e-learning business, from 1997-2002.
